Archos Video (RK) 7.6.2

This application is specifically designed for Archos devices that have RK processors. It is not compatible with other devices.

The Video Player app from ARCHOS is now available for all Android devices, including tablets, phones, and TV. It requires Android 4.0 or later.

The Archos video player app is highly acclaimed and offers a superior multimedia experience. It provides the following features:

• Hardware accelerated video decoding support for most devices and video formats
• Ability to play content from various computer and network storage options, such as SMB, UPnP, FTP, SFTP, or external USB storage devices
• Support for torrent streaming: you can directly open previously downloaded torrent files in the application (please note that no torrent search engine is included)
• Automatic online retrieval of Movie and TV show information, complete with poster and backdrop images, for both local and network content
• Integrated subtitle downloader
• Network indexing: you can import remote shared folders in your multimedia library using SMB
• Video browsing with the option to navigate by folder or library
• Easy access to TV shows with a series/season/episode hierarchical view
• Multi-device network video resume
• Dedicated user interface designed for TV compatibility, including keyboard/remote control support and compatibility with Android TV
• Integration with Trakt scrobbler for sharing and tracking what you have watched (visit http://trakt.tv/)
• 3D video capabilities: visual tagging and side by side/top-bottom playback mode with Archos stereo virtual reality glasses or support for cardboard
• Audio features include night mode and audio boost options
• Support for Android 5.0 Lollipop with a flat/material user interface design

Note that if you encounter any issues with video hardware decoding, the Archos Video Player application settings allow you to force software decoding for a smooth video playback experience.
